The days of 2006 did not just ushered in the birth of a new day, it also did usher in the birth of a new and right future for our young Muslims, the future leaders.
It ushered in the birth of our great school, Lamp Bearers Islamic School. The journey started at the school temporary site located on Arikewuyo lane, Unity, Ilorin, Kwara State. In our sojourn so far, all praises and thanks to Allah who has not just made us grow in number but we have grown in strength. Today, our beloved school has its permanent site situated at Saidu Alkali Street, Adjacent Dangote Factory, Asa Dam Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Lamp Bearers Islamic School in her bid to produce ideal Muslim who are well grounded in different spheres of life teaches Qur’an memorization, Arabic, Creative Art, Home Economics and Computer Studies. Our library is also stocked with different educational and enlightening books. Our pupils/students have compulsory stipulated library periods to inculcate reading habit in them. At LABIS, our teachers are qualified, committed and well equipped to ensure that they give the best to our wonderful pupils/students.
By Allah’s mercy, all these effort translated into our growth and gave birth to our high school named Lamp Bearers Islamic High School. At Lamp Bearers, we guide our pupils/students through extra-curricula activities which help illuminate their lives for a brighter future.
