Harvestfield College is a university preparatory institution based in the Lekki environs of Lagos state. We are collaborating with Great Lakes College of Toronto.

Our programs are an ideal bridge for the transition from secondary school life to the wider world of university and employment.
2+2 UK Degree Program:
Start the first two years of your UK undergraduate degree with us, and complete the last two years in a UK University.(A great affordable option for those who may want a UK degree at an affordable fee.)
Advanced Level (A-Level):
A two-year post-secondary school qualification in the UK and other Commonwealth countries, typically taken after completing high school education. It prepares students for university or employment. At Harvestfield College, we give an option of a one year intensive A’Level program or a two year program. This is a combination of the AS and A2 Level courses taken within a year, instead of two. The A’Level program is divided into; AS (Advanced Subsidiary) Level and A2 Level. The core A-level takes 6 hours per week per subject while English language and mathematics take 3 hours a week with ICT taking 2 hours. A-level subjects include: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, History, Further Mathematics, French, Geography, Literature in English and ICT.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD):
Harvestfield College is in collaboration with Great Lakes College of Toronto, to deliver the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). At HC we offer the last year of the OSSD for students who have finished WAEC, IGCSE or students who have just completed SS2 or Grade 11 of a high school. The examination includes a literacy test (OSSLT – Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test) and 6 courses . It prepares students for post-secondary education in Canada. The Canadian OSSD is equivalent to the UK A’ Level program.
The UK Foundation Program:
The International UK Degree Foundation program is a one academic year full time course that offers students an alternative route to British University degree courses. It is specifically designed for international students or those who do not meet the direct entry requirements for undergraduate studies at UK universities. The majority of students on the UK Foundation Program course are recent graduates from Nigerian secondary Schools. They usually have excellent IGCSE or WAEC results but still have not met the requirement to gain admission to a UK University. Students who have also taken AS but did not do as well as they anticipated also have an opportunity to enrol into our foundation programme. The UK Foundation Programme, improves academic English language skills, develop study skills and research methods, enhance subject-specific knowledge, prepare students for a 3-year undergraduate studies in the UK.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS):
This program is a standardized English language proficiency test designed for individuals who want to study, work, or live in countries where English is the primary language spoken. The test assesses a candidate’s ability to listen, read, write, and speak in English. It’s accepted by over 10,000 organizations worldwide, including universities, colleges, employers, and governments.
There are two main types of IELTS tests: The Academic IELTS, for students who want to pursue higher education in English-speaking countries and the General Training IELTS, for individuals who want to work, migrate, or pursue vocational training in English-speaking countries.
The test consists of four modules
Listening (30 minutes): Tests your ability to understand spoken English.
Reading (60 minutes): Tests your ability to read and understand written English.
Writing (60 minutes): Tests your ability to write in English.
Speaking (11-14 minutes): Tests your ability to communicate in English through a face-to-face conversation.
Results are scored on a band scale from 0 to 9, with 9 being the highest score.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT):
This is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. It measures critical reading, writing, and math skills. The scores range from 400 to 1600 and the examination is typically written by high school students for undergraduate university admissions.
