Day Stars Private School emerged in January 3rd, 2011 as an educational institution that started from a humble beginning with few pupils in crèche. A little drop of water makes the ocean, over the years with God’s grace and guidance, Day Stars has fully developed into a renowned citadel of learning with various campuses across Osogbo metropolis. Day Stars Private School is now 12 years of existence with numerous outstanding success achievements. These excellent academic and non academic records led to the establishment of her secondary school, which started partially with three students, seven teaching staff and five non teaching staff.

The vision and mission of our school which serves as a guided, gives us the core ability to educate our pupils and scholars to reach their full potential through wide and varied British/Nigerian curriculum, activity-based learning with the support of certified and well-experienced seasoned teaching and non teaching staff, in a serene environment. Educators are trained and retrained to work indefatigably on the students under their care, to making sure that these young scholars, irrespective of their tribes and ethnicity are academically, morally and spiritually groomed for their all-round and total development. With these, they are moulded to becoming independent learners, fit for the challenges of this century and beyond.

Day Stars High School was unveiled at her permanent site on the 11th October 2021 with over sixty students and she was accredited by WAEC and NECO for Senior Secondary Certificate Examination on 11th February, 2022. This accreditation has given us to privileged to present our vibrant scholars for external examination within the school premises. Days Stars High School has now produced four sets of senior secondary school graduates with outstanding academic records in both WAEC and NECO. We have also recorded high JAMB scores ranging from 302 by Farohun Oluwatobiloba (year 2023), 301 by Abodunde Daniel (year 2024) , 265 by Akinsola Inioluwa (year 2023) among others. Our students’ academic excellence in different external examinations is our foremost and basic priority. From the inception of Day Stars till date, we have won and received numerous awards and prizes from both academic and extracurricular competitions, these achievements have given us a remarkable recognition within and outside the state of Osun.

At Day Stars, pupils and students thrive on expert teaching, small classes as class sizes are limited to a maximum of 18 students in a class, state of art facilities ranging from a standard and well equipped ICT room, library, laboratories, Montessori materials, standards sporting equipment and facilities. We are known for engaging students in distinct sporting activities ranging from body-building ones to intellectually-challenging miscellanies appropriate for their three domains of learning — cognitive,affective and psychomotive. Among them are chess, Scrabble, draughts, badminton featuring shuttlecocks, football, table tennis and volleyball, just to mention a few among others
