<div>Allover Central Polytechnic came into being at the time when the Federal Government of Nigeria was trying to liberalize education, taking special interest in technological education. This policy is based on the fact that technological education is the basis of economic and social transformation. Thus, Allover Central Polytechnic was established in accordance with the provisions of Decree 9, of 1993, allowing for the establishment of Private Tertiary Educational Institution in Nigeria.</div><div><br></div><div>Allover Central Polytechnic was approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the recommendations of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) via the letter of approval referenced C/TEB.467/Vol.1/20 of 15th December 2003, and was listed in the 2004/2005 edition of JAMB brochure and included in the Directory of Accredited Polytechnics and colleges of Education in Nigeria.</div>
